This reminded me of a band I found back on Purevolume named Reaxion. They had short clips of their music compiled over years showing how they progressed. Starting from simple anarchopunk demos, impressivley progressing to a unique combination of crustpunk and melodic electronic music. Never found full versions of their music and it was all lost when Purevolume shut down. This scratches that one very specific itch.

Varg is one of the most talented musicians of the 20th century. Very, very, very few can boast the kind of natural feel for music and effortless songwriting skills Varg does.

I absolutely love the album cover art. The one thing they didn't realize is if the candle was that close to the top of lantern the rings would be too hot to hold. Yeah that's picky but if you've even carried a lantern the flame is more important that the container. Anyway my favorite YC .. album

Every song is amazing.

I'm glad that so many of us appreciate this, but I think we need to give a bit more praise to specific aspects. The drums fucking HIT when they need to. The intensity of the guitar picking . The bass is always audible. The guitar playing + effect use obviously leads everything and is the main draw, but credit needs to be given to every piece of this band over the years.

Ode to my college days in the early 90s and my roomies and I having a party in the basement with all our friends. We turned on several black lights, pulled out our airbrushes and fluorescent paints, and anyone that wanted to get naked or close to it would be airbrushed with a slew of colors. Granted most of us were on some various mentally heightened substances, but damn it was fun. Strobe lights a disco ball, glow sticks, laser pointers shown through various crystal items...the music we listened to was epic. This was a CD that was played on repeat quite often along with Lords of Acid, Minestry, and a host of others.

I first heard of these guys because I was at Medusas in Chicago and they were playing that night. I was blown away by them. I went to the record store the next day and they told m they didnt sell them and I should go to Wax Trax, the record store. I had no idea when i went thre a whole new musical world would open up to me. The guys in the store were super nice and always rcomended good stuff for me. Revolting Cock were and always will be one of my favorite bands. This album is their masterpiece.

I just woke up from this dream i was skating home and had beers steers and queers in my head and i told someone about it. I woke up and was like wtf. I hadnt thought of this song since the early 90s. Grabbed my phone and played it at about 3am and had all these flashbacks. Amazing how the mind works. Haha

Such a great album. Al J had so many great side projects going at the time. Unfortunately most were short lived. I do wish he had kept RevCo in this vein rather than what it evolved to. But it’s all good nonetheless.
